What's In Vogue?- "Ghana must Go" Clothing.. Cool Or Nah?

The famous "Ghana must go" bag, has been incorporated into fashion. Shocking? Nah not really. Trust fashion to always find inspiration from any source to invent new and exciting designs/stuff.

This is what the popular "Ghana must go" bag looks like;

Apparently, "Ghana must go was named after the Nigerian phrase directed at incoming Ghanaian refugees during political unrest in the 80s" and have been popular since God knows when.

Fashion designers like Celine, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Senegalese fashion label (Adama Paris)..... have created clothes and even accessories, using this popular Ghana must go material, and I must say they look pretty much impressive.
Peep them below;

Now see people who have worn this trend asides runway models.. Amazing right?

This brings me to the real question! After all is said and done, would you rock the Ghana must go trend or just maybe? What are your thoughts?

  1. I dunno,pants maybe...with a soft chiffon top to soften the look. But....interesting. Just hope when worn locally,the area 'alabaru' wont attack one thinking we are wearing his 'oshuka'
